Refund Policy

1. Definitions
- Engagement: A consulting project, sprint, retainer, workshop, or subscription-based support plan.
- Deposit: Upfront payment to reserve capacity and begin discovery/planning.
- Deliverables: Reports, dashboards, frameworks, documentation, models, training materials.
2. Deposits & Onboarding Fees
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has started (e.g., kickoff, discovery sessions, access setup, research).
- If you cancel before kickoff and before any work begins, we may refund the deposit minus payment processing fees.
3. Fixed-Scope Projects (e.g., 2–6 week sprint)
Refund eligibility depends on progress:
- Before kickoff: Refund possible (minus processing fees).
- After kickoff, before first deliverable: Partial refund may be considered based on hours consumed and committed costs.
- After delivery of first milestone/deliverable: No refund for completed milestones; remaining scope may be cancelled with written notice per contract terms.
4. Retainers / Monthly Services
- Retainer fees cover reserved availability and ongoing service time.
- No refunds for a month once that month’s work has started.
- Cancellation requires 30 days notice . Work continues through the paid period.
5. Workshops / Training
- If cancelled 72 hours before the scheduled session, a refund may be issued (minus processing fees).
- If cancelled within 72 hours, fees are non-refundable, but we may reschedule once as a courtesy (subject to availability).
6. Digital Deliverables
Once a report, dashboard, framework, or model is delivered, it is considered delivered professional work and is non-refundable. If there’s an error or missing agreed scope, we will correct it per the project agreement.
7. Disputes / Chargebacks
If you believe a billing error occurred, contact us first at contact@balio.solutions.
Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution and can result in access suspension to deliverables until resolved.
8. How to Request a Refund
Email contact@balio.solutions with:
- invoice number
- engagement name
- reason for request
- date of purchase
We typically respond within 3–5 business days.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy periodically. The “16 Feb 2026” date reflects changes.
